Congratulations on your choice to purchase an AB pup from SSK. We truly hope that your purchase provides you with a satisfying long-term human to canine relationship. You must understand that your decision to purchase this living animal will require a large portion of your life in time, money and effort for an indefinite period and that you will except these responsibilities to their fullest extents. You understand that you will be governed by this "puppy purchase agreement", laws pertaining to animals in your local jurisdiction and your homeowner's/renter's requirements and exclusions. You agree that you have thoroughly educated yourself about the pros and cons of owning an AB and that you are comfortable with the characteristics of this particular breed. You agree that you will: 1) Not use this AB for any illegal purposes or activities. 2) Not abuse this AB mentally or physically. 3) Not keep this AB in a crate for hours on end, tethered to a chain outside or allowed to run loose through a community. 4) Keep this AB in a fenced in yard or inside of your residential dwelling and on a leash while out in public. 5) Provide this AB will all necessary care including but not limited to: veterinarian care; adequate shelter against the elements; proper nutrition including a high-quality meat-based dog food preferably without corn or wheat; daily exercise; a minimum of basic obedience training from a certified canine obedience instructor; preventative health care including communicable disease vaccinations, hear-worm preventative, both internal and external parasite control. 4) Not train, coerce or agitate this AB to be aggressive to people or other animals. 5) Not hold SSK, SSK's owners or operators, Dean and or Rhonda Baxter including but not limited to: their persons or family; their estate, assets, holdings, earnings or interests whether actual, future or projected liable for any and or all damages caused directly or in-directly by the AB covered under this "puppy purchase agreement". 6) Accept full responsibility for this AB purchased and covered by this "puppy purchase agreement". 7) Any legal action warranted against the breeder shall be handled by arbitration in the breeder's county of residence. 8) Any complaints against the breeder shall be handled through private forums between the purchaser and breeder and not displayed and or recorded in a public forum such as newspaper, radio, television, email or Internet message boards. 9) Register this AB with the National Kennel Club in the following fashion: "purchaser's name of choice" of SSK. 10) You will periodically contact SSK and make them aware of the condition and progress of the AB purchased. Contact subject matter will include up to date digital photographs of the AB purchased from SSK 11) You agree that SSK can use without reservation any comments and or digital photographs provided of the AB purchased on the SSK website for promotional purposes without compensation for such usage. You agree that all digital photographs and text sent to SSK relative to the AB purchased becomes SSK's property. The Breeder States: The sire and dam of this AB are purebred, registered dogs that exhibit sound structure and even temperament to the naked eye. The sire and dam of this AB were bred with the best of intentions to produce healthy and stable AB pups. This AB is being sold as pet quality and is not guaranteed to be show quality or a breeding prospect. This AB will be covered with a limited guarantee as described following if purchased for the minimal price of $800 excluding shipping: 1) A period of one year from the AB's date of birth against canine crippling hip dysplasia. This must be verified in writing by a state licensed veterinarian in your state of residence and confirmed the breeder's veterinarian. The claim in writing must accompany the AB's x-rays taken by the same state licensed veterinarian confirming his/her diagnosis to be verified by the breeder's veterinarian. 2) A period of one year from the AB's date of birth against the "generalised coverage" type of demodectic mange. 3) A period of one week after receipt of AB by purchaser against death caused by the following one or more of the following diseases: parvo, distemper or corona if these diseases were derived from the breeder's premises. This must be verified in writing by a state licensed veterinarian in your state of residence and confirmed the breeder's veterinarian as authentic. The limited guarantee covering the above (3) terms and conditions is a "replacement only" guarantee and not a cash back refund. The breeder will the replace the above described defective pup with another AB pup in good health of the purchaser's choice. Shipping to the same location of the previous defective AB pup will be covered by the breeder. The defective pup must either be euthenised or spayed/neutered and verified in writing by a state licensed veterinarian in the purchaser's state of residence and confirmed by the breeder's veterinarian. This limited guarantee will be null and void for any of the following conditions: the AB has been used for any illegal activities or purposes; the AB was involved in a traumatic or crippling accident; the AB was abused, malnourished, neglected, abandoned, sold, traded, given away, confiscated, picked up by an animal control officer, improperly maintained according to the directions of this agreement, denied necessary veterinarian attention and treatment or kept on a chain. The Purchase Price: The full purchase price of this AB, (excluding additional shipping costs), including the limited guarantee described above is $800. Additional shipping costs may include charges for such items as air-cargo fees or land pet transportation fees, travel crate with accessories, state licensed veterinarian examination, veterinarian issued health certificate and USDA required letter of acclamation and are the responsibility of the purchaser. | Please take note. You must adhere to the following instructions before I will accept any type of binding payment on an American Bulldog puppy from Southern Showcase Kennels. 1. Read over thoroughly, understand and agree to, print and fill out the Puppy Purchase Agreement above. The completed and signed Puppy Purchase Agreement information, (buyer's address and unique purchase number), must match the information provided with the PayPal transaction to Southern Showcase Kennels. The Puppy Purchase Agreement must be received by Southern Showcase Kennels in less than 5 working days of making the corresponding PayPal transaction. If the Puppy Purchase Agreement has missing or incorrect information or is not received in the alloted time stated above your PayPal transaction can be denied or remitted at Southern Showcase Kennel's discretion. 2. Contact myself, Dean Baxter, via phone and conduct a phone interview to determine for yourself that I am a breeder of reliable character and that I may determine if you, the proposed purchaser, are an individual ready to accept the responsibilities of owning and raising an American Bulldog. 3. After completing and passing a successful phone interview I will provide the purchaser with a unique purchase number for the puppy we have discussed and agreed upon. 4. Choose the appropriate payment button: a) Puppy Deposit Only - This button is to make a deposit of $200.00 to hold the pup for a limited amount of time as specified on the FAQ page. b) Remainder of Payment w/o Shipping - This button is to pay the remaining sum of $600.00 that is owed on the puppy above and beyond the deposit of $200.00. This only applies if you are traveling and picking the puppy up in person. c) Remainder of Payment with Shipping - This button is to pay the remaining sum of $900.00, ($600.00 on the puppy and $300.00 for shipping). d) One Time Full Payment with Shipping - This button is to pay the entire price, ( for the puppy and shipping), of $1100.00. I retain the right to refuse any payment submitted without following all of the above written guidelines. We only accept the payments through PayPal as a convenience to the buyer and not as an obligation on the seller. We want to make certain that the individuals wishing to purchase one of our pups are fully aware of the commitment, (both physically and monetarily), that is involved with owning a dog.
